Federal Police dismantled a gang of illegal production and marketing of drugs

En el marco de los lineamientos ordenados por la Ministra de Seguridad de la Nación, Sabina Frederic, para prevenir los delitos complejos, la Policía Federal desarticuló una organización dedicada a la fabricación, acopio y posterior comercialización de medicamentos de manera ilegal, tras realizar una serie de allanamientos en Capital Federal y las provincias de Buenos Aires y Tucumán.

Las tareas de investigación, llevadas a cabo durante varios meses por agentes federales de la división Investigación de Falsificación y Adulteración de Fármacos, permitieron identificar una estructura criminal que fabricaba, almacenaba y distribuía medicamentos de manera ilegal y que también adulteraban los hologramas de autenticidad de medicamentos. Estos ilícitos representan un enorme riesgo para la salud pública.

A raíz de ello y con la información obtenida, el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal Nº11 a cargo del Dr. Marcelo Martínez De Giorgi, Secretaría Nº22 a cargo de la Dra. Laura Charnis, ordenó un total de trece allanamientos, entre ellos a dos droguerías, una farmacia, un depósito y varios domicilios particulares.
Durante los procedimientos, fueron detenidas siete personas y se secuestraron varias cajas de medicamentos, entre ellos ansiolíticos, protectores gástricos, gotas oftalmológicas, penicilina, medicación vencida, una máquina de comprimir pastillas, cuatro notebooks, tres computadoras, un vehículo utilitario, varios teléfonos celulares y demás elementos de interés para la causa.
Esta investigación contó con la colaboración del personal de la Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (A. N. M. A. T. ), para cumplimentar las medidas judiciales.
Las personas detenidas, junto con los elementos secuestrados (valuados en aproximadamente 8. 700000 de pesos), quedaron a disposición del magistrado interventor.
