En este sentido, se deberán establecer reservas de puestos de trabajo para ser ocupados por personas travestis, transexuales o transgénero. Además, no consigna la necesidad de rectificación registral del sexo y el cambio de nombre de pila e imagen, en referencia a la Ley N° 26. 743, y en ningún caso, determina el cese de las relaciones laborales existentes al momento. En cuanto a los requisitos educativos y a los efectos de garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades, el requisito de terminalidad educativa no debe ser un obstáculo para el ingreso y permanencia en el empleo. Por otra parte, se llevará a cabo la capacitación de las autoridades y el personal del Poder Ejecutivo Nacional con el objetivo de asegurar que la inclusión en los puestos de trabajo del Sector Público Nacional se realice en condiciones de respeto a la identidad y expresión de género de las personas. Por último, se dispuso la creación del Registro de Personas Travestis, Transexuales y/ o Transgénero aspirantes a ingresar a trabajar en el Sector Público Nacional donde habrá constancia de los perfiles laborales de las personas inscriptas, los puestos de trabajo vacantes y las ofertas de contratación de personal disponibles. Cabe aclarar que, la inscripción al Registro es considerado un requisito para el ingreso de personas travestis, transexuales o transgénero a un empleo en el Sector Público Nacional.
