NEW MOTOR GRADER FOR RURAL ROADS OF GENERAL ALVEAR

Mendoza delivery to the municipality took place in the context of
traditional livestock festival in the region.

The Ministry of Government Agricultural Industry of the Nation delivered a
new motoniveladora the municipality of General Alvear, Mendoza. During a
ceremony at the 38th National Festival Drylands Livestock. They
participated Undersecretary of Political Coordination, Hugo Rossi, and the
Mayor, Walther Marcolini.
In the event, Hugo Rossi stressed that "not only this machine will be used
in the repair of rural roads, but also in the prevention and mitigation of
fires, through the construction of chopped and firewalls" as one of the
objectives fundamentals of the agreement that gave rise to the purchase of
the tool.
It will be used to repair 500 kilometers of rural roads, and was acquired
through an agreement between the Ministry and the Municipality for a total
of $ 6000000. The funds come from the National Fund for Emergency and
Disaster Agricultural (FONEDA).
On the other hand, it provides for the use of this new equipment for
maintenance and reconstruction of chopped and perimeter firewall inter- and
intraprediales, mainly benefiting livestock production in the region.
Present were also the director of the National Agricultural Disaster
Emergency, Javier Caniggia Bengolea, producers and local residents.
