THE NATIONAL DISABILITY PARTICIPATED IN AN INCLUSIVE DAY IN THE SENATE OF THE NATION

Wednesday 8 May, the National Disability Authority (ANDIS) participated in
the conference "The comprehensive support of people with disabilities at
different stages of life" held in the Auditorium of the Senate of the
Nation.
The meeting was organized by Senators Inés Brizuela and Doria and Mario
Fiad, and was aimed to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with
disabilities.
During the day three panels in the subject disability addressed from
different views as input from advances in modern genetics developed; labor
inclusion of the disabled person and the role of the state.
Executive Director Andis, Santiago Ibarzábal, exhibited at
the "Achievements and Challenges accompaniment of disability in Argentina",
on the progress panel that the Agency has been developing throughout the
country on certification of disability, rehabilitation, education and
employment.
Ibarzábal stressed the importance of "all people have equal opportunity to
develop a full life." And that this "in the Agency work to ensure the
rights of people with disabilities and build a more inclusive society."
At the end of the exhibition each panelist received a diploma in
recognition of the work done.
