WE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL LIBRARY BY ODS

The document establishes the set and cooperative work between CNCPS and
BNMM by Agenda 2030.

Monday May 27 signed a cooperation agreement with the National Library
Doctor Mariano Moreno (BNMM) to coordinate and integrate initiatives that
contribute to the effective implementation of Agenda 2030 and the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this regard, the Executive Secretary of the National Council for Social
Policy Coordination (CNCPS), Gabriela Agosto, along with the director of
the BNMM, Elsa Barber, signed the document that commits both parties to
work complementarily from their respective institutional competences.
Decree No. 499 establishes the CNCPS responsible for coordinating the
actions necessary for the effective implementation of the "Agenda 2030 for
Sustainable Development" agency; while Decree 1386/96 establishes the
BNMM's mission to protect, enhance, preserve, conserve, record and
disseminate the printed memory of culture, with priority to making the
country's cultural heritage.
With this agreement we continue involving all sectors of society-academia,
the private business sector, civil society, the State- for the effective
implementation of Agenda 2030 and ODS.
