During the seminar was presented the National Network of Digital Health
that will allow local governments to identify the needs of the population
and care lengthwise and integral.El National Program of Cities,
Municipalities and Communities and the National Directorate of Information
Systems health of the Government Secretariat of health of the Nation held a
working session with the municipalities of Chacabuco, Lincoln, Marcos Paz,
Moreno, Punta Indio and Vicente Lopez with the main objective to share with
municipal officials and technical strategy Digital health , one of the
shafts to boost Universal Health Coverage.
Opening the meeting he was led by the director of Municipalities and
Communities, Bibiana García, and operational coordinator of Digital Health,
Cintia Speranza, who presented the National Network of Digital Health. Be
part of that network will allow local governments the ability to identify
the needs of the population and care for the community in a longitudinal
and integrated throughout all his life. In addition, the implementation of
the Interoperable Health Record in each of the offices is the pillar to
advance local digital health agendas.

Osornio, said that "one of the main challenges was to think a strategy of
digital health in a context where there were already progress in
computerizing health fragmented and vertical without communication between
the different information systems ". He also presented the technical

national strategy was presented to promote the design and implementation of
telehealth networks, by the National Coordinator of Telehealth, Emiliano
López. The coordinator of the National Center for terminology, Karina
Revirol said the global vocabulary for sanitary applications SNOMED CT,
which allows structuring, record, share and analyze health information.
This clinically validated, vocabulary facilitates the adoption of
electronic medical records for medical staff and allows automatic mapping
the statistical classification of ICD-10 and the various service plans for
cost recovery. This vocabulary is one of the three standards of Digital
Health Strategy.
Finally, Carlos Weber, Director of Statistics and Information of Health of
the Government Secretariat of Health, presented the guidelines and
objectives of management with an emphasis on gathering information,
generating statistics and the Nation articulation and Provinces.
National Digital Health Strategy lays the foundation for deploying
information systems that promote integrated services and comprehensive
health. The formalization of this strategy contributes to the governance
and stewardship of a new form of health work, aimed at developing an
efficient management focused on prevention, promotion and user support
health system, as well as for continuous training health teams.
