MOBILIZATION ", NO LESS" CONTINUE TO INCREASE CALLS TO LINE 144

Under the fifth anniversary of "Not One Less", the National Women's
Institute disseminates statistical report Line 144 calls during June 3 and
comparative period 2016-2019.
During mobilization "Not One Less" this year entered the line 144, 1054
calls. Of which 107 were for first interventions, 113 interventions
subsequent consultations gender 154, 168 and 512 consultations a number
without typing.
Also in data calls received this year shows that there was an increase of
7.54% of calls received for the year 2016.
In this regard, include increased consultations regarding gender issues.
This shows the identification by citizenship, with specialized subject of
Line 144. Consultations gender often see questions involving a violent
situation, functioning as awareness and prevention mechanism.
The national hotline 144 is intended to provide information, guidance,
advice and restraint for women in situations of violence across the
country, 365 days a year, 24 hours, free of charge.
