TECHNICAL SCHOOL PROJECT LA RIOJA TO INCORPORATE MORE FEMALE STUDENTS

theme that emerged from conversations with students at the primary level in

technical school. So he put together a video in which the character Lucia,
representing the city girls who want to study in technical school appears.
When he finished the course, the teacher decided to take the sequence into
the classroom, to work the issue with their students in 1st and 6th years.
And "Women in Technical Careers" (Women in technical careers), a project
that aims to demystify the misconceptions acquired in society on Technical
and Vocational Education and promote the enrollment of women in technical
school emerged.
As part of the project, and from reading notes from the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Science and Technology Office (Women in Technical
Education and Technical Schools: inequalities between men and women) and
the armed video by Johana, lo / learners should reflect on the concepts of
inclusion, discrimination and gender inequality.
"This year we look at the institution a significant increase in female
enrollment, which is the result of hard work by the principal and / as

Gender equity in Professional Technical Education
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Technology, through the
National Institute of Technological Education (INET), are carrying out a
series of policies aimed at reducing the gender gap that exists in
Professional Technical Education (ETP ).
In this line, the first Gender Equity Commission was formed under the ETP.
The purpose of it is to propose and coordinate policies, projects and
actions that seek to incorporate the gender perspective, increasing the
number of women, modify the "male culture", eliminate stereotypes,
transforming teaching practices as well as improving infrastructure
conditions so that they are accessible and equitable.
