THE FIRST SEMINAR OF THE YEAR ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING OF TRAINERS WAS HELD IN BAHIA BLANCA IN ENERGY EDUCATION

In the framework of the National Education Strategy for Energy
Sustainability that is implemented at the federal level, it began in Bahia
Blanca a new year of intensive seminars for teacher educators at all
educational levels.
The seminar took place during the days 29, 30 and 31 May at the premises of
the Information Center and Educational Research (CIIE) Bahia Blanca, and
was attended by 59 education professionals. Among the topics discussed they
were included: energy production in Argentina and in the world;
environmental problems; renewable energy and responsible and efficient use
of energy; design and management of energy and environmental education
projects and strategies promoting education for energy sustainability.
Bahia Blanca was the first town of the ten where the seminars, which aim to
develop a training proposal themes of energy and environment for teacher
trainers to implement programs and / or educational projects for the
generation of a change of habits will be made responsible and efficient use
of energy in their students and educational communities.
The National Education Strategy for Energy Sustainability is an initiative
of the Education of the Secretariat of Renewable Energy and Energy
Efficiency of the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance of the Nation,
accompanied by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and technology
and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation,
which aims to educate for energy sustainability and achieve a change of
habits in society in energy use, for the responsible use of it.
During 2017 and 2018, under the same program, more than 5,000 teacher
trainers benefited from seminars and trainings were held in all provinces
of the country.
