THE MANUAL OF GOOD PRACTICES FOR FORESTRY PRESENTED

The Superintendency of Occupational Risks (SRT) presented the Handbook of
Good Practices forestry in the city of Gobernador Virasoro Corrientes; the
material was prepared as part of the National Prevention Programs
(ProNaPre) by industry.
The manual is divided into two main activities: those made in nurseries and
carried out in mountains. In nurseries, the text recommends good practice
for the following blocks: cooling, humidification, filling trays, planting
and replicate, fertigation, transport and clearance of plants.
For tasks performed in mountains, the guide contains useful information on
preparation, maintenance, planting, fertilizing and spraying, pruning,
tumbling, limbing, marking and bucking mechanized cutting and loading and
transporting logs.
The mode of presentation was a presentation of the actions carried out by
the Commission with statistical data context of activity and exposure of
the main axes of the Manual of Good Practice.
The quadripartite commission forestry sector is active since May 2017 and
participate in the same SRT, the Argentina Union of Rural Workers and
Stevedores (UATRE), the Forestry Association Argentina (AFOA) and regional
timber associations, and the Union of Insurers Labor risks.
