UPDATED HEALTH REQUIREMENTS TO EXPORT POULTRY PRODUCTS TO CHINA
Day at the Grain Exchange organized by the Senasa and the Center for
Poultry Processing Companies attended by over 100 representatives of
companies.

Buenos Aires - The Hall "San Martin" of the Grain Exchange in Buenos Aires,
hosted the Conference on Update on Export Markets: procedure and policy,
organized by the Agrifood National Service of Health and Quality ( Senasa)
and elcentro of poultry Processing companies (CEPA), on June 5 attended by
over 100 representatives of poultry companies.
During the meeting the procedure agreed with the Health Agency of PRC for
export from Argentina of animal products, including poultry explained.
At the opening of the conference spoke for the Senasa, the national
director of Food Safety and Food Quality, Jorge Dal Bianco, and the
Director of Safety and Quality of Products of Animal Origin, Gustavo Soto
Kruse, and the ECA, its president, Roberto Domenech, and responsible for
Foreign Trade, Sofia Garcia.
Appointees highlighted the important achievement by Argentina -the result
of labor, among others, the Senasa- with the opening of the Asian market,
and highlighted the public / private joint work between the health
authority and businesses after meeting normed requirements for the Chinese
market.
They attended lot of departments responsible for quality and foreign trade
of poultry companies, as well as staff of veterinary inspection services of
Senasa.
During the activity lectured by the Senasa, the head of the Department of
Export Markets Directorate of Food Safety and Quality Product of Animal
Origin, Roxana Roller, and Andrea Bravo Coordination Import and Export
Certification of products, byproducts and derivatives of Animal and Animal
Origin Foods, who detailed the procedures for filing documents and
information agreed with China and other markets such as Vietnam and
Singapore in relation to the requirements regulated by those countries.
"This conference is a continuation of what we have been doing for some time
between our organization and the ECA, which strengthens and reinforces the
knowledge of both official agents and staff of the poultry companies,
achieving an understanding of the requirements and steps procedures agreed
with the Chinese market, "said Soto Kruse.
"We seek to generate this joint or union of public and private sector to
build confidence that we demonstrate every day with foreign markets,
managing to maintain this trust over time" completed the Senasa.
