Frederic mantuvo una reunión de trabajo con Santilli viernes 03 de enero de 2020 La ministra de Seguridad de la Nación, Sabina Frederic, mantuvo hoy una reunión de trabajo con el vicejefe de Gobierno y ministro de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Diego Santilli. Durante el encuentro, Frederic manifestó que el Ministerio promueve el trabajo con todas las jurisdicciones del país y que "la Ciudad de Buenos Aires es uno de los lugares cruciales para el desarrollo de una política de seguridad dentro del paradigma de derechos. Su alta densidad poblacional la hace una ciudad particular. Además, el hecho de ser un espacio donde conviven fuerzas locales y federales genera un desafío de articulación virtuosa que debe brindar seguridad a la población". Al finalizar la reunión, Santilli afirmó que "fue una muy buena reunión, donde hablamos de toda la política integral entre las dos jurisdicciones. Es muy importante en el trabajo combinado que nosotros tenemos con fuerzas federales. Hay una política del Ministerio de Seguridad de la Nación que es buena, que trabaja bien en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires". En el evento, realizado en la sede del Ministerio Nacional, estuvieron presentes los secretarios de Seguridad y Política Criminal, Eduardo Villalba, de Articulación Federal de la Seguridad, Gabriel Fuks, y el jefe de Gabinete del Gobierno de la Ciudad, Gustavo Coria. Asimismo, Santilli se refirió al trabajo en conjunto con la cartera nacional para esclarecer y dar con los responsables de la muerte del turista inglés, Matthew Gibbard: "Creo que hemos dado un buen paso. En conjunto con Prefectura Naval, con un trabajo que venía haciendo la Policía de la Ciudad, de investigación, pudimos poner a disposición de la Justicia a todas las personas que intervinieron en ese hecho macabro de asesinato. Me parece que la gente espera eso de nosotros", finalizó Santilli. La Ministra cerró el encuentro expresando la necesidad de sostener este tipo de reuniones de manera sistemática para compartir experiencias, desafíos y planificaciones que sirvan para estructurar formas integrales de producir seguridad como parte de las obligaciones del Estado y de las necesidades de la sociedad.
