Durante el encuentro se repasaron los programas vigentes como Precios Cuidados y Vuelta al Cole, y se remarcó la importancia de incorporar el uso de la nueva aplicación para celulares de Precios Cuidados. "El desafío -afirmó Español- es que la tecnología sea una herramienta más que nos ayude a hacer valer nuestros derechos, que nos sirva para combinar la labor del Estado, junto con la de las asociaciones y, en definitiva, con la participación de todos como consumidoras y consumidores". Acompañaron a Español la subsecretaria de Acciones para la Defensa de las y los Consumidores, Laura Goldberg; y el director nacional de Defensa del Consumidor, Sebastián Barocelli. También estuvieron presentes Cecilia Garat, directora de COPREC, y Virginia Bandres, directora de Protección Jurídica del Consumidor. Participaron de la reunión representantes de PROCURAR, UCA (Unión de Consumidores de Argentina), Consumidores Libres, PROCONSUMER, ACYMA, ACUDA, PADEC, Asociación de Consumidores y Usuarios de la Argentina, DEUCO, CODELCO, LIDECO, CODEC, ADUC, ADDUC, UCU, ACUCC, ADACU, AUC, ADELCO, ADECEN, CONSAL, Fundación Club de Derecho, CEC, Justicia Colectiva, Unión de Usuarios y Consumidores, FEMUDECO, ADUCECSI y UNADEC. El Consejo Consultivo de los Consumidores reúne a todas las asociaciones de consumidores junto a las autoridades nacionales de Defensa del Consumidor para trabajar conjuntamente y coordinar acciones de manera colaborativa.
