CONTINUE THIS YEAR CYCLE OF GOVERNMENT SUPPORT TO SMES FOOD

The edition 2019 of the Business School organized by the Government to
improve the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs food will be held in
the provinces of Rio Black, Cordoba, Entre Rios, Catamarca and Buenos Aires
and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. SMEs concerned may apply for
registration until Monday 22 April, with a maximum quota of 35 per school,
and will have no cost to companies that are selected. The school is a
support mechanism for regional economies so that they can reach the
gondolas of the world, considering that 98 percent of the production of
food and beverage is made up of SMEs, which are promoting employment, value
added and local development. Firms receive comprehensive assistance service
and are given modern tools of business, organizational and business
management. These include designing a business strategy, planning improving
marketing channels, strengthen selling skills, define a strategy for human
resources, optimize the cost structure, improving management skills and
position the brand and products of the firm. Convenes the Secretariat of
Agribusiness of the Nation, along with the host provinces and the Argentina
Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME). The export module is in charge
of the Argentina Investment Agency and International Trade. In previous
editions they have involved about 750 companies located in 13 provinces.
SMEs may present the food, winemaking sector products that have some sort
of value-added, differentiated and export-oriented. They should be
classified as micro, small and medium enterprises in accordance with the
provisions of Resolution No. 340-E / 2017 of 11 August 2017 of the Ministry
of Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of
Production and Labor. We also have implemented a quality management system
or being in the process, generate local economic impact, have
export-oriented, having exported or intending to do. In addition, the
Ministry of Agro-industry until next Saturday will offer assistance
programs for SMEs in the sector in the framework of the 20th International
Food Fair Rosario (FIAR). The National Food and Beverage provide advice to

than 40 companies participate in the Business Round organized by the
Argentina Investment Agency and International Trade jointly with the
Ministry of Food and Bio-economy of the Nation and the Municipality of
Rosario. Argentina occupies the seventh place as a global producer of food
and 13rd as an exporter. Food now account for 43 percent of total exports
of country, currency, meant over 2018 totaling 25.5 billion dollars.
