NATION ADVANCES WITH THE WORKS IN THE URBAN PASO DE SANTA ROSA

waterlogging in the driveway. In this context, and to tackle floods every
year affects urban areas, are being installed storm drains 1,400 meters
circling the corridor. In parallel, between Arriaga and provincialist
Convention streets, is installing a concrete conduit nearly five meters
deep. At the same time, near the neighborhood procreate it is deepening the
existing stilling basin and is installing a pumping station. Similarly,
construction of sidewalks advances on both sides of the Beltway Avenue
East. Tasks include running ramps for disabled, signalized crosswalks,
paving side streets and bus and remodeling of the junction with the FFCC
Sarmiento. Remodeling and expansion of urban step will benefit more than
6,500 users and residents of the city of Santa Rosa. The project, which
became operational in November 2018, includes the widening of the road,
paving collecting and cross streets, installing a new lighting system,
construction of sidewalks, turning basins and crosswalks. The new corridor
will optimize traffic conditions, shorten travel times and reduce the
possibility of congestion generated in an area of vital importance to the
growth of the city, such as access to the industrial park. The work will
also provide greater road safety for residents of Santa Rosa. RN 35 is a
communication channel over 700 km that connects the city of Bahia Blanca
Rio Cuarto in the province of Cordoba. It is a corridor of great
socio-economic importance for the whole central region of Argentina, which
is predominantly agro-livestock and a significant portion of the country's
exports occurs. It constitutes the backbone of La Pampa on integration and
territorial connection.
