GOYA RECEIVED EQUIPMENT TO IMPROVE RURAL ROADS

The machinery was acquired through Convention No. 53/18 held between the
portfolio and the municipality agroindustrial correntino, for a total of $
8,208,119.

The Ministry of Government Agricultural Industry of the Nation today
introduced a new motor grader and tractor loader to improve rural roads in
Goya, Corrientes province, during a ceremony headed by Undersecretary of
Political Coordination, Hugo Rossi, and the Mayor Ignacio Osella.
This agreement, signed under the National Fund for Emergency and Disaster
Agricultural (FONEDA) aims, in a first stage, outlining 43 km of rural
roads that were affected by floods, and recover the regular walkability of
them.
It will directly benefit more than 2,700 family farms and seven rural
schools in the region, favoring the rural community of Goya that uses these
paths to move from their land to different towns and cities.
During the event, Undersecretary of Political Coordination stressed "the
importance of working with municipalities towards improving municipal road
parks."
In addition, the Act "Citizen Engagement" that informs participants the
objective of the agreement was signed.
The event took place at the Rural School No. 690 Spot Buena Vista and was
attended by Director of the National Agricultural Disaster Emergency,
Javier Caniggia Bengolea; Municipal Director of Training of the Ministry of
Interior, Public Works and Housing of the Nation, Anna Daher; Secretary of
Economic Planning and Productive Nicolas Diaz Colodrero; the president of
the Rural Society of Goya, Justiniano Minoli; farmers, teachers, students
and local residents.
