IN JUNE, THERE WILL BE A NEW FORUM FOR SUSTAINABLE HOUSING IN BUENOS AIRES

Within the framework of the National Strategy for Sustainable Housing, the
Secretary of State for Environment and Sustainable Development and the
Ministry of Interior, Public Works and Housing, in collaboration with the
Inter-American Development Bank, organized the Forum on Sustainable
Housing, which will take place 3 and 4 June, 8 to 17 pm, at the Cultural
Center of Science, located in Godoy Cruz 2270, Buenos Aires.
It will be a meeting space generator of experiences and ideas on social
housing and urban and regional development, under sustainable guidelines.
It will focus on the important role of sustainability for the disciplines
of architecture, urban planning, engineering and social sciences, among
others; incorporating the guidelines defined by the National Housing Policy
promoted by the national government, focusing on the promotion of
bioclimatic design strategies, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
For two days will be held lectures and dialogues lectures, in charge of the
premier national and international level with representatives of public,
private and academic sectors on the themes: housing, habitat, renewable
energy, energy efficiency, bioclimatic design, infrastructure, social
integration, financing, sustainability and innovation. In turn, in the
auditorium of technology, presentations on certificates and applications
technologies by professionals and specialists building systems will be made.
In the main auditorium will address the following modules: National
Strategy for sustainable housing; socio-urban integration; Challenges in
housing built; Innovation and technology for sustainable development in
housing; energy efficiency and renewable energy in Argentina social
housing; among others.
The public can attend workshops and training sessions, practice or
experimenting with sustainable technologies. They may also visit the
exhibition of traditional building systems or technical aptitude
certificates and traveling exhibition to disseminate Project of Energy
Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

and Associations, Developers, Manufacturers and Service Providers,
