FOREIGN PESTICIDES WILL BE LIMITED TO CHANGES IN OWNERSHIP

Senasa seeks to improve monitoring and facilitate controls carried out by
the Agency in origin, traceability and labeling.

Buenos Aires - The National Health Service and Food Quality (Senasa),
through Resolution 638/2019 published today in the Official Gazette, he
said changes in ownership of plant protection products formulated from
registered foreign origin in the National Register of Plant Therapeutics
that administers the National Plant Protection through the Directorate of
Agrochemicals and Biological.
In the case of products of foreign origin and / or whose production can be
performed interchangeably in a company based abroad or in a plant located
in the country plant, only the transfer may take place after the expiry of
one year from registration Year National register of Plant Therapy.
For already registered prior to this regulation products, a transfer will
only accept per year, counted the time since the last performed.
This regulation seeks to optimize the control of plant protection products
formulated foreign origin and facilitate checks carried out by the Agency
on them, as to origin, traceability and labeling.
