PRESIDENT MACRI AND AGUAD MINISTER INAUGURATED A WIND TURBINE ASSEMBLY PLANT IN FADEA

The President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, and Defense Minister Osar
Aguad, led today the opening ceremony of an assembly plant for wind
turbines in Argentina Aircraft Factory "Brig. San Martin" (FAdeA),
commissioning within the framework of an agreement between the state
enterprise and the Nordex Group.
This is the first production of its kind in the province of Córdoba, which
will generate 100 jobs directly specialized work.
The initiative began in December 2018, following the signing of an
agreement between Nordex Group FAdeA and for the construction of a local
assembly line of wind turbines.
Production began in mid-late April and already left the assembly line the
first set of nacelle and hub AW132 / 3300, for projects of generation
company AES Generación SA.
Thus turbines that qualify as local production, offering customers
significant tax benefits, while the energy cost is reduced marketed.
"Argentina has one of the best wind resources in the world and is well
positioned to become a major market for wind energy. The turbines of the
multi-megawatt series in which this plant specializes, they will play an

For his part, Antonio Beltramone, president of FAdeA, said: "This plant is
a new proof that transparency, commitment and teamwork can reverse the
worst scenarios just eight months ago, this place was an abandoned
warehouse. and today we have a plant with the latest technology. "
In addition, he stressed that currently the state enterprise "offers the
widest range of services in its history" and said that "to have the first
wind power plant in Córdoba is an honor."
FAdeA is a company under the Ministry of Defense and has over 90 years of
experience in aviation technology and the development of different
vehicles, such as motorcycles, cars, vans, motorcycles and tractors, as
well as joint and aeropartes.
In recent years, strategically it aligned and operates in new areas of
international trade with industrial partners of civil and military sector.
Meanwhile, Nordex Group is one of the manufacturers of the world's leading
wind turbine, since it has more than 25,000 MW of wind power capacity
