El Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de la Nación y el Ministerio de Salud y Desarrollo Social realizaron la primera entrega de yerba de la Cooperativa Agropecuaria Forestal de Industrialización y Comercialización Limitada (CAFICLA) dentro del programa "Compre Estatal". Se adquirieron 25000Kg de yerba para abastecer programas alimentarios.
Mediante este nuevo acuerdo, la yerba "Orembae" envasada en paquetes de 1kg integrará el menú de los planes de asistencia alimentaria en todo el territorio nacional, con un producto de excelente calidad, inocuidad y seguridad alimentaria.
Técnicos territoriales de la Secretaría de Agricultura Familiar, Coordinación y Desarrollo Territorial supervisaron el cumplimiento del protocolo de calidad, y acompañaron a los productores brindando asistencia y capacitaciones en el proceso de confección del protocolo de calidad, control y seguimiento de los requisitos necesarios.
La compra en organismos estatales es posible debido a que las Cooperativas de la Agricultura Familiar pueden ser consideradas Efectoras Sociales de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por Resolución N° 14 de setiembre del 2018, del Ministerio de Salud y Desarrollo Social.
El Ministerio de Agricultura, a través de la gestión de la Dirección de Comercialización de la Secretaria de Agricultura Familiar, Coordinación y Desarrollo Territorial facilita la inclusión de los productos de la Agricultura Familiar en el régimen de las compras públicas beneficiando a productores y organizaciones del sector.

Forma parte del Consorcio Esperanza Yerbatera que nuclea a más de 1000 familias de pequeños productores.
