DESIGN AND INNOVATION AT THE 45TH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR
More than 100,000 people visited the stand of Education, Culture, Science
and Technology where lectures in the auditorium and various activities were
carried out during the 20 days that developed the Fair.

Create toys with applied design, experiment with chemistry, paleontology
and astronomy or know the projects that invite designing and prototyping
solutions in the field of education, health and habitat, are some of the
activities designed by the Secretariat government of Science, Technology
and Innovation for the 45th International Book Fair of Buenos Aires held
from April 25 to May 13 at La Rural.

Booth number 603 of the Blue Pavilion attended the "Factory, Design and
Innovation" of the Federal Council of Science and Technology (COFECYT) that
explores new ways of addressing public challenges and articulates with
various state agencies, the private sector program and the citizenship.
Initiatives "Factory, Design and Innovation" focus on understanding the
needs of people who will benefit from these solutions, such as
training "Yo, Digital," which is part of the program + Simple and provides
older adults with a friendlier and safer to perform transactions at ATMs
way.
The kids could participate in "little factory", a space becomes aware of
playful and creative appropriation of tools and design skills to create new
toys manner. In one of the workshops put together a kaleidoscope from kraft
paper folds that by rotating the framework reflect and reproduce inside the
drawn image. In Geopalooza it built collaboratively one locking structure
with Eva rubber.
Stand activities allow students develop different strategies and ways of
thinking, strengthen confidence and active and collaborative participation
of the student.

ever wondered why there are sweets we call "acid"? Chemistry Laboratory
Science students conducted experiments and lectures for visitors to become
detectives and scientists discover the science that studies the properties
of matter and its transformations.
Palaeontology and Earth in large Dinos sector and boys approached the
science of life in the past through fossils. They were part of the talks
stand as "Paleontology, a trip to the past" with the presence of dinosaur
replicas in real size that lived during the Mesozoic Era, 160 million years
ago.
Astronomy in the sector known "The Milky Way, our home in the universe" in
which the audience was immersed in the world of the stars and new inclusive
to access technologies celestial charts.
